Top 10 Ways to Actually Enjoy
"Tea Time" at Atlantis Resort
By Kathlyn Von Rohr
If you've ever attended one of our events, you know what it's like at the end of the day.
Your wealth-building sessions have ended. You're supercharged with all the impressive information you just heard.
You just called your broker and told him to buy those two dynamite funds that Eric Roseman bought for his own retirement plan (so you know they're good). You've already cruised by The Sovereign Society table and bought Bob Bauman's latest bestseller.
Most importantly, you've already met with two separate experts who are going to help you set up your own personal structure offshore.
So now what? It's 4:00 in the afternoon.
It's too early for dinner, a little too early to camp out at the bar for the duration of the night, too early to go out for the evening and too late in the day to take one of those "fantastic tours" the concierge recommended.
Fortunately there are options, especially at our next destination: Paradise Island, The Bahamas. This November 7 - 10, our team will be on location at the award-winning Atlantis Resort & Casino, for The Sovereign Society's 2007 Offshore Advantage Academy.

As close as you want to be to a belly of a shark - at Atlantis
In fact, there are SO many activities to do at the Atlantis Resort that it actually takes a little research to decide what to do first. (And let's face it. Who wants to spend their free time doing research?)
So in the interest of saving you a little time, here are my top 10 things to do in the late afternoon at the award-winning Atlantis Resort & Casino.
1. Get lost in the world's largest open-air marine aquarium. Wander through Atlantis's underwater glass tunnels, and watch as sharks, stingrays and other deep-sea creatures gracefully float above your head. Or visit one of the six lagoons to see every sea creature imaginable, from barracudas to Queen Angelfish. All totaled, you can visit 50,000 sea animals of 200,000 species without strapping on a single swimming suit or snorkel (unless you want to - there are lagoons where you can take a soak with the sea creatures).
2. Ask yourself: Do you feel lucky? No reservation required. Just wander around the Atlantis mega-casino and play any of the 1000-plus slot machines, or sit down at one of the 90 gaming tables. Unlike some other casinos, the Atlantis casino features skylights and windows, so you can enjoy the gorgeous late afternoon Bahaman sunset without leaving the craps tables.

The bottle-nose beauties at Dolphin Cay
3. Make a date with the dolphins. Whether you'd rather wade into the shallows or take a deep water swim with the dolphins, the bottlenose beauties at Dolphin Cay welcome the company. In a short 90 - 120 minute program, you'll receive complimentary wetsuits, an orientation from a marine specialist, photo opportunities, and 30 minutes to literally "get acquainted" with the dolphins. The only catch is - these dolphins are VERY popular, so you need to make a reservation as soon as possible if you're planning on spending an afternoon in Dolphin Cay. (You can make a reservation when you reserve your hotel room.)
4. Sunbathe while you float. It's called the "Lazy River Ride." You relax in an inner tube while you drift down a quarter-mile river of pristine blue water and gaze at the passing tropical scenery. Need I say more?
5. Pick up a little Versace for later. Two words: Duty-free shopping. And you don't even have to leave the hotel. Atlantis features the world's finest shops, with the latest fashions from France and Italy, right onsite for your convenience.

The soothing waters at Mandara Spa
6. Don't just relieve stress - forget it exists. The Mandara spa at Atlantis boasts a mix of ancient Balinese, European and Bahaman treatments. They offer any kind of spa service you can imagine, from garden terrace massages to milk and honey ritual bathing to teeth whitening. Honestly, if you only have a few hours before dinner, you'll want to choose only one or two spa treatments and leave the rest for later. Also, you'll want to make a reservation for late afternoon so you don't waste any spa time waiting for an open room.
7. Create one of your souvenirs yourself. Atlantis Resort has its own pottery "Earth & Fire Studio." Spend your free time before dinner painting your own Bahaman vase, a picture frame to house, your vacation snapshots or your own personalized cappuccino cup. All pottery pieces are fired and ready for you pick up by 4 pm the following day.
8. Put your sunscreen to good use. Want to work on your tan before you see your relatives on Thanksgiving? Grab a towel and your swimming suit and go lounge by one of the six very different Atlantis pools. Or go sink your toes into the white sand on the miles of Bahaman beach that sits right next to Atlantis.

STOP! Don’t Make Your Hotel Reservation Until You Read This…
Apparently, Atlantis Resort Hotel & Casino is even more exciting than we thought… because they’re OVERBOOKED!
Fortunately, we reserved rooms months ago for our Offshore Advantage Academy guests. But there’s a catch: Atlantis will only hold our rooms until October 8! After that, they disappear.
So if you’re planning on joining us, you need to call Atlantis BEFORE OCTOBER 8th and ask for a “Sovereign Society room.” Otherwise, you will NOT have a room for the Offshore Advantage Academy.
You can call Atlantis right now to reserve your room at 1-888-528-7155 or 1-954-809-2100.
And don’t forget to sign up for the Offshore Advantage Academy. You can register by clicking here.

9. Tea time - Take a "tee time." Talk about a water hazard. Several holes on this stunning 18-hole, par 72 championship golf course literally sits right on the ocean. So you have a fantastic view and a challenging course with one "stroke." Make your tee time reservation in the morning so you can start golfing as soon as the wealth-building sessions end.
10. See a late afternoon blockbuster. Love movies? Need to relax before dinner? The Atlantis Theatre shows recent Hollywood movies for your viewing pleasure. Grab your tickets, your popcorn and settle in for the afternoon.
There you have it: my list of top 10 things to do between roughly 4 and 7 pm each day at Atlantis. Of course that's just for three hours in the afternoon. Imagine what there is to do once the sun goes down...
